A record of what the Society has done, in the order it happened.
Adopted the Intellectual Property Policy (SCS/POL/2026/01), an Implementing Instrument under Bylaws §5.17, published with a blockchain-anchored timestamp. Its default is non-retention: the Society claims no ownership of intellectual property created within a project — it belongs to those who create it — unless the project's terms or a written agreement provide otherwise. Where a work has no owner, the Society holds it only in custody until a rightful claimant appears; questions of affiliation are settled first by the project's members, and by the Board only if they cannot agree. Revised the Society's infrastructural framework from seven to nine domains, adding an Epistemic domain and distinguishing the Normative, Ethical & Aesthetic, and Care commitments. Published Schedule A — Infrastructural Domain Classification (Rev.1) and the Amendment Instrument (SCS/AMD/2026/01) that effected it, both with a blockchain-anchored timestamp.
Adopted the Document Type Code Standard (SCS/STD/2026/01), establishing the Society's document-identification system under Bylaws §5.16 and §5.17. Read the Standard ↗
Formally approved the Society's first three projects under the governance framework: Responding to the Crises of Symbol and Subject in Modernity (SCS/PA/2026/01), Philosophy of Intimacy and the Theory of Justice (SCS/PA/2026/02), and G³: Geometric Graph Grammar ToolChain (SCS/PA/2026/03).
The Society's Bylaws were published with a blockchain-anchored trustable timestamp (OpenTimestamps), so their integrity and date can be verified independently of this site. Read the Bylaws ↗
Published Introduction of Trustable Timestamp in Document Publication (SCS/PGD/2026/01), the recommended practice by which the Society now timestamps the documents it publishes. Read the guidance ↗
